Just as we’ve announced a renewed focus on growth and expansion for 2018, Merle Norman Cosmetics franchise has received another honor from prestigious industry publication Entrepreneur magazine. We’ve been ranked No. 47 on Entrepreneur’s list of the Top 100 Franchises for Less than $50,000.

“Many new business owners spend hundreds of thousands — even millions — of dollars to get started,” says Travis Richards, a Director and Vice President of Franchising. “Some franchise brands require that type of large initial investment. We’re excited that Merle Norman Cosmetics is an affordable business. Becoming a studio owner with us is accessible for many people, and we’re honored that Entrepreneur magazine recognizes the outstanding value we offer.”

Merle Norman’s place on the Top 100 “most affordable” franchises was determined by the scores the company received in Entrepreneur’s 2018 Franchise 500 ranking. Earlier this year, we competed against 1,000 other franchises to claim a spot on the coveted list at number 421. Those scores are determined by an evaluation of more than 150 data points in the areas of costs and fees, size and growth, franchisee support, brand strength and financial strength and stability.

Merle Norman Cosmetics is an American success story. For nearly a century, our studios have been an attractive business to own. Merle Norman was ahead of her time — a pioneer in cosmetics and franchising who believed in creating authentic products that work. She also empowered women through business ownership, and today we are thriving with her original passion, vision and tenacity. Our product quality, integrity and legacy are unparalleled. Extended to entrepreneurs by Merle Norman herself beginning in 1931, our franchise opportunity gives franchisees personal and professional fulfillment as Merle Norman Cosmetics studio owners.
