Merle Norman of Fuquay-Varina, a popular one-stop-shop for cosmetics and skin care has grown to include a spa, clothes and an accessory boutique
Thirty-nine years ago, Merle Norman of Fuquay-Varina owned by Frances Jenkins, opened its doors, pioneers in cosmetic and skin care business and expert makeup artist, set out in a storefront in downtown. Beth Glover, the fourth owner of the Fuquay-Varina location has a business that today has grown to include a spa, clothing, and fashion accessories boutique, providing a total package of beauty and rejuvenation, and delivering 100 percent customer success.
“Merle Norman Cosmetics is not just about cosmetics and skin care. We do makeup, and we do it well but have added other services to include full nail service, full waxing, massages and ear piercing services, “ noted Beth Glover.
“Even though we love providing a one-to-one type of service for our clients, we also offer special event makeup for weddings, homecoming court, photo shoots and prom or for any event you want a special look for,” noted Beth Glover.
On the Spa side, Merle Norman of Fuquay-Varina offers full nail services with Roza, relaxing therapeutic massages with Karen, and full waxing and relaxing facials with Jeanne, on-site by appointment.
On the boutique side, the shop offers reasonable stylish jewelry, cosmetic bags, high-quality wigs, purses, jewelry, and a selection of trendy clothing, from the size small to plus-sizes.
“We are unique in that we never carry two of the same piece of jewelry, and the clothing comes in one item per size. That way, you don’t have to worry about showing up somewhere and everyone dressed or accessorized the same,” said the shop’s spokesperson, who prides themselves as a one-stop-shop for makeup, clothes, and accessories. Plus, when customers need a full facial, waxing, nail care or body massage, they don’t have to go elsewhere because everything is done under one roof.
Merle Norman of Fuquay-Varina also ships products to clients in other states or those unable to visit the store.
